Hey Kin!

Wow, how fun to log on today and see all the posts of the week. I just finished my last week of classes (I guess I didn't have much time for blogging this week). Yesterday was my last rehearsal of the semester with a small Renaissance singing group that I'm in (we sometimes call ourselves "Masters of the Notes"). My friend James, who directs it, brought some Christmas music to sing, including a really beautiful (and not too hard!) 4-part lullaby that I'm bringing home for our family to try--so start vocalizing now-doremifasolatido! Can't wait to sing, play bells, and drink eggnog with everyone! I just have to get those final papers written first...Hey, I just remembered that I had a dream last night that I DID finish my English paper--if only that were true!

Have a great day y'all! Liz and Eric, just so you know--today is your shared birthday, so party it up!

Happy Elizabirthday.

If you're reading this and you haven't sent Liz a birthday present, it's too late. (Except for you, Brandon--you might be able to sneak out or pick something up on the base.) We thought about sending Boo Radley to deliver the birthday cheer, but finally opted for the United States Postal Service.

I suppose that I ought to remind all of you that it's not too late to send off Eric's present, but it might have to be Fed-Ex Overnight Saturday, and that's gonna cost ya. Along the same lines, I don't know whether you're aware that Christmas is coming. You have been warned, people. 22 days.

Anyhow, happy birthday, Liz. I hope it's Alabamazing.
